research councils, the BNSC coordinate the UK's civil space
activities and manages the UK's participation in European
Space Agency programmes.
Europe's gateway to space. Its mission is to
shape the development of Europe's space capability, European
space policies, missions, programmes and industrial and technological
policies.
ESTEC is responsible for managing ESA space projects,
preparing future projects, providing technical support to ESA
project teams; developing new space technology for future projects,
quality monitoring and testing of satellites.
